山里佐和子 YAMAZATO, Sawako
兵庫県生まれ、宮城県・千葉県育ち。４歳よりピアノを、10歳よりユーフォニアムを始める。
岡山県立岡山城東高等学校普通科音楽コース卒業。国立音楽大学器楽学科（ユーフォニアム）卒業。
楽譜出版社・ミュージックエイトの音楽アシスタント公募通過をきっかけに、大学卒業と同時に編曲者としての活動をスタート。
学生時代の師である三浦徹氏の委嘱作品『民謡ファンタジー』（ユーフォニアムと吹奏楽、2004）以来、作曲活動も展開。2006年度東京ミュージック・メディアアーツ尚美の科目履修生として研鑽を積む。作曲を菊池幸夫氏に師事。
現在、吹奏楽編成を中心とした編曲作品のほか、室内楽やソロのオリジナル作品も幅広い層に支持されている。

Sawako
Yamazato majored in euphonium at Kunitachi College of Music. After
graduation she responded to a recruitment notice from the music
publisher Music Eight and got the job as a music arranger.
Her first original work, “Minyo Fantasy”, was commissioned by her former euphonium professor, Toru Miura. She then shifted her focus to composition. She took further studies at Tokyo Music and Media Arts Shobi in 2006 with composer Yukio Kikuchi.
She is currently composing wind and chamber music as well as doing arrangements. She now has many published works being performed and enjoyed by a wide range of groups, both amateur and professional.
